My old stomping area. Field trips to Grand Bend, grew up in Southampton /Sauble beach in summertime. Parents had a cottage there. Love that area of Ontario!

It is actually so gorgeous along the Great Lakes. Lake Huron gets top spot in our books because of the beautiful sunsets!! Thanks for watching!! Cheers!

That weather looks amazing. So cool and refreshing. Loving the beach vibe with the cool restaurants, but not loving the process 😮😮😮. That winery looks amazing.
Hopefully we can find an affordable way to drive through this area because it looks beautiful.
    Cheers from Jakarta!!

We are enjoying "cooler" weather, although going up to 36, feels like 40 today! Its like Thailand all over again! If you ever can, its a lovely part of Ontario and Canada. Camping is probably the most affordable way to stay in the area.
Hope you are enjoyng Jakarta! Cheers!

We visited Thessalon and Bruce Mines Ontario. But prior to that we were visiting friends and family in DeTour and Drummond Island, Michigan on Lake Huron which would’ve been a little bit South and West of y’all. The story I heard as a kid was Drummond Island was originally part of the Manitoulin Islands And when they were drawing a line between the states and Canada they got the Captain of the ship drunk and he cut Drummond Island out of the Canadian chain of islands. I’m not sure if that’s true or not but I remember getting health care as a kid in Canada and we lived in Michigan.
